Sound Designer
As the Sound Designer, and as this was my first opera in this role, I researched extensively on mic'ing techniques and what a properly reinforced opera should sound like. Using my research, I created a speaker plot and area mic set up that would amplify the show in an unobtrusive way. I also created sound cues and programmed a DiGiCo SD9 for this production.

Research
Street Scene is a two-act opera based on the play of the same name. Set over the course of a scorching hot 24 hours, it chronicles the lives of residents in a New York City tenement.
